Dear Blog , long time no entry .. Guess who got lucky last night!
Being quite a fan of Korean food, I would say I've tried a few in Klang Valley already, including the Daorae Franchise. So far the Hartamas branch is the best and Subang is not too bad. My friend who has gone to the Penang's branch said they were great.
By that, we meant not just the food, but the service as well .
24 March 2012. Late dinner. Arrived at Daorae Kota Damansara.
9.20pm - Enter restaurant, full house. There was 3 grps of people ahead of us in a queue from the counter.
No one bothered to welcome or acknowledged us, so we joined the queue. Lady Boss stood at counter, never onced looked up, eventhough there was a queue around her counter. One family infront of us left, as they got fed-up.
9.40pm - Lady boss said we need to take a number, eventhough it was very clear, as people lined up in the order as they come in. But we took a number anyways.
9.50pm - Came to our turn, waiter is still asked: who came 1st? when it was OBVIOUS that we have been standing infront of the counter for half an hr with our numbers. Especially when they have been walking pass us during that whole time. I put up my number, but he still went to a bigger crowd behind us, asking if they came 1st instead ? They all shook their head.

9.51- 9.55pm- Still no menu in sight. Have to ask for one. One waitor told us - Wait. Need to set table 1st. Huh? Was that more important than taking orders? Took them forever to take orders as they were rushing around shouting. They could tell I was annoyed, but they were not bothered, waitor rudely sets cutleries on table with a clash.
Guest from individul rooms were popping their heads out asking where their food was. Guess they too were pretty annoyed.
10.15pm- BBQ meat finally arrived. Marinated chicken was not so fresh.
No tea was served untill we requsted a few times.
10.50pm - They gave us WATER on my 2nd cup when we requested for tea. There was also no complimentary fruits as well, as they couldn't be bothered to pass it out anymore.

Bill was about Rm90 for 2 person. Service charge came up to around Rm8++. What a price to pay for this RUBBISH SERVICE!
It Boils down to BAD Management & training.
Guess if your business is Good, Who needs Customers Service ?!
I should have left, like the family infront of us when we could at 9.30pm.
What a SHAME .. or in KOREAN terms :
부끄러운 ~ boo ggeu lub da !!! I will NEVER return.
